This modern detached home in a leafy pocket of North London was a complete rebuild and interior redesign project: the only aspect of the building that remains from the original Victorian Arts & Crafts home is the front façade. The clients wanted the building to be a spacious, comfortable home which catered for the needs and tastes of their family.
There was plenty of bespoke shelving and storage, notably in the dressing room which features sleek cupboards.
The home offers a grown-up aesthetic punctuated by playfulness – perhaps best seen in the bar room which boasts velvet barstools and banquets and a bright scarlet pool table.
