Knightsbridge, London

Arranged over the ground and lower ground floors of a period property in one of London’s most famous squares, this apartment is the perfect backdrop for our client’s outstanding personal art collection.

The entire property, not just including but especially the kitchen and dining area which benefits from the natural light streaming in through a large bay window, has been designed with the placement of artworks in mind. The kitchen features shelving and lighting which has been carefully considered as places to best showcase the ornaments and paintings.

The use of crittall windows as a partition between dining room and kitchen allows both areas to benefit from natural lighting, but provides a sense of structure and a point of interest that works beautifully when juxtaposed with the traditional proportions of the room – not to mention the ornate cornicing.
